Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: We offer a 7-day refund window for course purchases, subject to the conditions outlined below. This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all digital products and services offered by Vaquill ("we," "our," or "us"), including but not limited to:

  • Online courses and course bundles
  • Digital learning materials
  • Subscription-based services
  • Any other paid digital content

2. Course Refund Policy

2.1 Refund Eligibility Period

You may request a refund within 7 (seven) days from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • You have accessed less than 20% of the course content
  • You have not downloaded any course materials or certificates
  • The course has not been completed
  • No certificate of completion has been issued

2.2 Full Refund Scenarios

You are entitled to a 100% refund if:

  • Technical issues on our platform prevent you from accessing the course, and we are unable to resolve them within 48 hours
  • The course content significantly differs from the advertised description
  • Duplicate payment was made due to a technical error
  • You cancel within 24 hours of purchase and have not accessed any content

2.3 Partial Refund Scenarios

A partial refund (50%) may be provided if:

  • You have accessed between 20-50% of course content within the 7-day period
  • Documented technical difficulties prevented optimal course access (after our support team's verification)

2.4 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • More than 7 days have passed since purchase
  • More than 50% of the course content has been accessed
  • The course has been completed
  • A certificate of completion has been issued
  • Course materials have been downloaded
  • Courses purchased during promotional offers or sales (unless otherwise stated)
  • Change of mind after accessing significant course content
  • Inability to complete the course due to personal time constraints

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Pre-Purchase Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before completing the payment process without any charges.

3.2 Post-Purchase Cancellation

As per the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we do not charge any cancellation fees. However, refund eligibility is subject to the conditions mentioned in Section 2 above.

3.3 Subscription Cancellation

For subscription-based services:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods already paid
  • Access continues until the end of the paid period

4. How to Request a Refund

4.1 Refund Request Process

  1. Submit Request: Email us at support@vaquill.com with subject line "Refund Request":
    • Your registered email address
    • Order ID / Transaction ID
    • Course name
    • Reason for refund request
    • Date of purchase
  2. Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours as required by law
  3. Review: Our team will review your request and verify eligibility
  4. Decision: You will receive our decision within 7 working days
  5. Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days from approval

4.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • UPI / Net Banking: 5-7 working days
  • Credit/Debit Card: 7-10 working days (depends on your bank)
  • Wallet: 2-3 working days

Note: Refund timelines may vary based on your bank or payment provider's processing time, which is beyond our control.

5. Course Access After Refund

Upon approval of your refund:

  • Your access to the course will be revoked immediately
  • Any downloaded materials must be deleted
  • Certificates (if any) will be invalidated
  • Progress data will be retained for 30 days in case of re-enrollment

6. Special Circumstances

6.1 Technical Issues

If you experience technical difficulties accessing your course:

  1. Contact our support team at support@vaquill.com with subject line "Technical Issue"
  2. Provide details of the issue with screenshots if possible
  3. Our team will attempt to resolve the issue within 48 hours
  4. If unresolved, you may be eligible for a full refund or course transfer

6.2 Course Discontinuation

If we discontinue a course while you still have active access:

  • You will be notified at least 30 days in advance
  • You may request a full refund for the remaining access period
  • Alternatively, you may transfer to a similar course of equal value

6.3 Force Majeure

In case of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government actions, etc.), refund timelines may be extended. We will communicate any such delays promptly.

7. Pricing and Currency

All course prices on Vaquill are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST). The price at the time of purchase is final, and no adjustments will be made for subsequent price changes.

8. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address your concerns:

Resolution Time: Within 30 days of complaint receipt

If your grievance is not resolved satisfactorily, you may approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Consumer Rights

As a consumer in India, you have rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019:

  • Right to Information: Clear information about products, pricing, and policies
  • Right to Choose: Access to competitive pricing and options
  • Right to be Heard: Your complaints will be addressed through our grievance mechanism
  • Right to Seek Redressal: Access to consumer forums if disputes are unresolved

10. Promotional Offers and Discounts

  • Courses purchased during flash sales, special promotions, or with discount codes may have modified or no refund eligibility
  • Any such modifications will be clearly stated at the time of purchase
  • Bundle purchases: Partial refunds for individual courses within a bundle are not available

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute regarding refunds:

  1. First, contact our Grievance Officer
  2. If unresolved within 30 days, you may approach the appropriate Consumer Forum
  3. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bihar, India

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.

For purchases made before a policy change, the policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply.
